Here is an information update concerning the successful landing of the Curiosity rover.


First, a presentation by “Star Trek” star and NASA enthusiast, William Shatner, describing what the rover will do and, hopefully, achieve now that it’s safely on the Red Planet.


About the Mars Science Laboratory’s Curiosity rover, landing safely in the Gale Crater following its 8-1/2-month journey from Earth. But also, space weather; virtual KSC tours; wish to explore; and more!

Finally, the latest pictures from the Martian surface are unveiled to media at NASA’s JPL in Pasadena, Calif. The Curiosity rover has begun a two-year investigation of whether the Red Planet can or ever has supported microbial life.
