In this NASA Google Hangout, the agency share news that the Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) mission has for the first time mapped out the structure of the solar system’s tail. Like a comet, the solar system has a tail called a heliotail, that is shaped like a four-leaf clover, according to new IBEX data.
