In a couple of episodes, NASA’s Edge does an in-depth briefing about everything MSL (Mars Science Laboratory) Curiosity, about its role on Mars and its technical functionality and capacity.


In this first episode, NASA EDGE gets underneath the heat shield to learn about MEDLI (Mars Science Laboratory Entry Descent and Landing Instrumentation).

They visit the Mars Yard at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to learn more about Curiosity and how it will function on the red planet.
